Also recently rewatched Lost Boys, and I love it now for all the reasons I was annoyed by as a teen. And the parts I thought were hella cool then are ... well, they're still pretty cool 😏 But I can't recommend any of the sequels, even for a lark.
I re-watch Lost Boys every few years, sometimes just to eye Corey Haim's wardrobe. What I would give for a Mondrian bathrobe! I have the soundtrack, too.
And fun fact about the original sequel—Fright Night Part 2: Julie Carmen (who played Jerry's sister, Regine Dandrige) went on to become a psychotherapist.
So that's kina tricky, but no. The second Fright Night 2 is actually a genderswapped remake of the original. It's called Fright Night 2: New Blood https://boxd.it/6ooC

It's a great soundtrack!
I love all Fright Nights. The ones you mention are clearly the best, but I like the Fright Night 2s, too
Did the remake have a sequel? I never saw that! I also liked the original Fright Night 2, though.

Ooooh, I'm going to check that out! I had no idea it existed!
It is the worst of the lot but still fun in its own way.
